Nice to know that even Japan agrees that Snyder's edgelord approach was not the way to go.

How did you come to that conclusion when nothing in the interview said anything of the sort?

One of them even mentioned liking Jesse Eisenberg’s Luthor.

Thanks for the interesting interview, but the statement "Usually, an isekai fantasy takes place or begins with the character's death before they are reborn in the new world" isn't true. I don't have the exact data, but I would say that at least half of them start with the protagonists (and sometimes other characters, too), getting simply teleported/summoned to a different world.

Guess you've completely missed or ignored Osada's statement at the very end of the interview literally saying that she wants the anime to be more light-hearted.

No I read the article 3 times over to make sure

Quote:
OSADA: I don't really like serious stuff. So I put some comedy moments when developing the script. While there are serious films like Batman v Superman, there are also light and enjoyable themes. So it would be great if the fans could know that DC titles can be enjoyed lightly and are fun. The series isn't always dark.

Now where in this statement was anything mentioned about Zack Snyder? Nor does it say that the darker tone of Batman v Superman was the wrong direction.

Zack Snyder was not the first person to write or make a dark superhero story involving DC Characters nor did it start with the New 52.
