All those digitama make me think they're finally pulling the trigger on giving everyone in the world a digimon and bridging into the 02 epilogue.
Which would also mean they would probably be getting off this Adventure nostalgia train started with Tri, because I don't know where you would go from there. |

I get making new stuff for Adventure, but 02 was the disappointing sequel that they decided to go in a different direction to, Tamers, than actually continue on from.

To my understanding Tamers is way more popular in the states than it ever was in Japan. Half of Kizuna's marketing was focused on the 02 kids as if to apologize for the how awfully Tri treated them, so there's an obvious market to let these characters end on a better note. |

Hitting me hard in the nostalgia as the 02 gang go up against Megumi Ogata complete with gorgeous animation!
Only thing that threw me off was CG Paildramon but it looks like Imperialdramon isn't CG, so that's good. |

Me being very neutral on 02 up til today I was very so so on the movies existence, not excited but not down on it either, I'd see it when I see it. Somebody put subtitles to this trailer though (you can find it yourself I ain't getting in trouble over it) and I gotta say I'm *alot* more interested in seeing it, since it seems not only like a interesting premise but very thematically fitting to what 02 is (or at least what people write of it in various pieces I've read over the years I haven't seen that show in like a decade, hence mi initial lack of hype of any kind)
Much as I love Tamers, after that terrible stage play and realizing how that show was more the product of it's whole team who are now scattered, rather that Konaka (something, to his credit, he was very open about for years) it just makes me realize that any new tamers thing would be an unworthy bastardization that wouldn't be worth existing. Anyway I'm looking forward to giving this movie a try. |

Last Evolution Kizuna was shocking decent. I´ll check this out and this is some pretty good CG.
Tamers stays dead. No one needs that drama in their lives. |

The shot of Paildramon in the trailer is from his evolution scene, which has always been CG. It even looks much nicer now. Still, he'll likely be 2D in his regular scenes just like Imperialdramon. |

This new character in the film claims to the very first DigiDestined. Does that mean he was one of the five original kids like Daigo and Maki?
