AT-X is needed because this will be censored into next week, it seems more brutal than say something more light and gratifying like Criminal Girls since an iron maiden is shown.

Sugimoto and Asirpa transported into a fantasy setting, with Sugimoto as a.... sword? Not on my bingo card, but I'll roll with it. Anyway, production must be kinda foward by some amount if they're already revealing a release date so soon with this announcement, no? |

I haven't read the manga, but I just searched for the synopsis, and... I don't think the trailer is accurate of what the story actually is. |

It would rather say it's quite a good move as the manga itself actually try to mislead the reader at the very beginning.

Nah, that's the whole joke of the series. It seems like it has a grimdark and disturbing atmosphere but spoiler[then it completely pulls the rug out from under you. It's actually a comfy slice of life cooking series, with the "tortures" the Princess endures being different delicious foods or fun activities that the demons prepare for her. The main joke is that the demons look scary, and talk like traditional villains, but they are actually INCREDIBLY NICE, so nice that they can't bring themselves to harm anyone and instead treat the Princess like an honored guest (though she still has to sleep in a dungeon.) It's actually a really heartwarming little manga that pretends to be the opposite of what it actually is. Oh, and the iron maiden only appears in the first chapter and is never actually used. ] |

It's a very funny manga, it's almost 200 chapters' long and the only danger is for your stomach, as you'll feel hungry after reading the Princess' "tortures".*
And this was kept in secret until the Jump+/Manga Plus release! * sometimes she doesn't talk. |

Wonder if it'll have short episodes. Each chapter is pretty short and there's only one real punchline. Having the same thing repeat 4-5 times within 20 minutes would be too much.
