No surprises there. The BD's getting delayed a good few months was pretty evident of its delay.
Now, will it be a triple with Nier (Ayakashi & Maou Gakuin) or will they pull a 86 and just finish it off next season.

I'm surprised that this happened but I'm even more surprised that it happened to two anime in one season. The other being The Misfit of Demon King Academy.
That said, I'm only referring to those that are going to restart their broadcast this year.

It probably only happens for shows that booked a second cour airing times on tv and can use it to reair their first. Isekai Ojisan did that but then it failed to even finish 1 cour in 2 cour seasons.

Good thing I'm waiting to watch Ayakashi when the BDs are released. NieR & Kubo-san I'll wait to finish when/if they finish their air cycles.

Nier may be tougher since it has a Saturday slot. It may end up all the way in Fall.
