Calling it right now, they're gonna delay this show for a second time later on. Nier has already suffered from that kind of fate, so…

Considering they delayed it for whole 4 months and it still re-air from episode 1, so it is supposed to get new episodes only in late August-September - they most likely not.

Ayakashi Triangle has a similar delay. It aired 4 episodes, delayed 5 and 6 by 1 month. All episodes after that haven't aired and there is no return date yet. Also, they claim the delays to be about COVID.

Itsuka Ano Umi De wasn't delayed because of COVID even in the official statements.
It was just a friggin trainwreck of production since the release.

It took less of a delay than some of the other titles on that list, but it's still 2 episodes behind Kaina of the Great Snow Sea, which debuted on the same day.
Assuming Bofuri s2 is 12 episodes, I'm curious to see how they'll handle the last two episodes, since they would run into the next season (and thus cause a potential time slot conflict).

They already said that they extended the timeslot for the remaining two episodes of Bofuri S2 and episodes 11/12 will be running on April 5/12 - so there is no issue.
