I never watched the original only seen the remake and I overall enjoyed it, looking forward to the second half next year and will definitely check out the original series when I can.

I've been the loving the heck out of this wacky anime, laughing multiple times an episode. I know it's old school crazy humor, but it's hitting my sweet spot. 2024 seems a long way away, though

Very good news!
Until now, the remake adapted fun stories and I'm sure the next 23 episodes will be great as well, as we'll get to see Asuka, Inaba, Shingo, Nagisa, Carla and Rupa.

Well was hoping for fall. I sure hope I’m alive see it. I’m slowly creeping up on 80 before too long.

With the new Rurouni Kenshin airing this year on Noitamina it makes sense to schedule more Urusei Yatsura for next year.

That, and giving only a few months of time for the staff to fully finish another 2 cours would be overkill.

I hope you're still around for it and many years too.

Nice, really like this show. Best part is how surreal it is seeing old stuff in a modern look, like how there are no cell phones, tvs are old, vcrs are a thing etc etc.

Thank you all for wishes. Getting old is hard. Surgery coming up. Will have much time with wife to keep company and time to watch anime while grandkids run amuck.
