So all FukuJun's spoken lines will only be in his character's thought?

Ah yes, time for some isekai vending machine action. I am still surprised that this got an anime since the novel series got axed after 3 novels.

Is it? Because I'm starting to suspect only about 4% of Japanese deaths actually stick and everyone else gets isekai'd.

People were speculating it will be some super cheap thing with noneme staff as printed novel version were axed. But nope, it has a pretty decent staff and good cast.

Yeah, it might be a pretty good adaption. There being an adaption does still surprise me a bit though, the novel has been axed a few years ago and the manga is not that huge either.

I'm not surprised if Crunchyroll pushed for this anime similar to how Tomo-chan is a Girl was made into an anime even if the manga ended back in 2019.

that makes sense, the novelty factor means a lot of views ( think keijo) , but this one is super safe more like bofuri than goblin slayer.

Most unexpected FukuJun role of all time.

Die with a vending machine, become a vending machine.

It sounds like the vending machine "speaks" with automated dialogue, so that's probably what characters actually hear him say.

So is this serious or essentially a parody that'll spend its entire run time going "aren't most isekai just junk", cause the premise obviously point toward the later but the description/trailer seems to be the former.

True, but the ones with a unique twist no matter how weird keep things at least a little fresh.
