HOLYSHIT YES!
i never thought this would happen, MahoIku is so big and interesting, i was hoping they wouldnt left it with only 1 season (which adapts Vol 1, and some of the side stories from the Volumes which are comprised of short stories)
tips for future viewers, this is a direct sequel from s1, although the main cast are all new girls, some of the girls from s1 are important and will be doing things in the background, aside from that, this is more of a murder mystery than a battle royale
12 episodes should adapt the 2 volumes of Restart, since the story is chunkier than what s1 was

I'm really glad about it. I liked the previous adaptation a lot so I'm all in for the new one. Hope they'll get most of the other staff and studio back.

A lotta people will be dreading this but Restart is unironically when this series starts to get a little more interesting. Also it's set up like a whodunnit mystery and those are just neat.

I really enjoyed Magical Girl Raising Project and thought it was one of the better post Madoka grindark magical girl shows and always wanted to see more of that world and characters. I hope the new anime will maintain the high quality production of the original.

OMG FINALLY YES I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!!!! (இ﹏இ`。)
As you can see by my profile pic, I am a huge fan of the series. I fell in love with it around the same time the initial anime series came out and I have all the light novels and manga that have been translated into English so far. I have been waiting literal years for Restart to be adapted, and it looks like all the waiting I’ve done has finally paid off!!!!
Beyond excited right now.

YES! This show was so underrated. One of my favorite series of 2016.

Wow! I am very surprised! I did not expect Magical Girl Raising Project would get a 2nd season after seven years. I can't wait to see how Restart is animated.

Oh sweet! as a big fan of the books this is so exciting. I really enjoyed the anime, especially rewatching it after having read the book. It was quite a solid adaptation!
It'd be nice for the series to be able to show anime only watchers that it isn't just some grimdark Madoka wannabe, but actually quite an interesting character piece and full of political intrigue and interwoven plots. Character's you don't expect to do much will suddenly become very important later on and it pays off really well!
I hope it's the same staff as the first series because it was a very nice looking anime.

Oh, sweet! I hope the story will take place again in Joetsu city and its surroundings like the first series did. Recognizing places like Shozenji Dam where the last showdown took place was half the fun for me.

Sooooo looking forward to this as I really enjoyed the show (s1 as peeps are calling it). I thought it was better than Madoka Magica.

As a reader of the LN who kept saying "if only they could make a sequel ..." every time a new volume came out this news is godsend !
I beg you, don't stop at Restart, i want to see so badly Pam vs Pukin & Sonia from Limited in anime.

This arc was definitely a step up from the first one, from what I recall. Felt more Dangan Ronpa with magical girls, than just a battle royale.

Really excited about this, even if I wasn't a big fan of the 1st arc, this one has probably my favorite set up & group of characters of the franchise. I can't wait to see certain characters animated!

I have to agree that it was one of the better post Madoka incarnations. I felt several others tried a bit too hard to be similar to Madoka instead of going off in their own direction. I never did get to the Restart novels. I suppose I better do that before this airs.
