Wow there are a lot of unexpected surprises in this one, particulary for me is Vandread Dita and Gun X Sword El Dora V as i never expected those 2 series would ever have and new figures released anymore.
i hope we get more of these nostalgic and under the radar titles, there are a lot of interesting mech shows whose mechs never made into figures i wish to see. |

Wow, that's quite the line up. Right in the nostalgia.
Vandread Dita sticks out to me as well. Both as one I wouldn't mind picking up and just surprised to see it remembered lol |

Vandread is a blast form the past. Would love some Star Driver though.

Gonna keep my eye on the RahXephon when the pre-orders open! They posted pics of the figures on the GoodSmile Twitter and they look pretty cool!

I almost missed they even threw a Metal Jack in there.
Reminds me of when there were Revoltech figures of every robot you could imagine, although this is even more thorough. Are these kits like...good? Never built a Moderoid before. I was considering their Cruise Chaser Blassty kit at one point, but I remember people complaining about something-or-other with that kit. |

I’ve only built one Moderoid kit, Great Zeorymer, and it was pretty good, though not as good as Bandai’s plastic kits. My only real complaint is that the joints were a bit stiff when compared to Gundam kits, but to be fair, Bandai has four decades of perfecting their plastic models. That being said, I’m definitely looking forward to getting some of these since there’s quite a few robots that I’ve wanted plastic models of for close to thirty years. Quite a few of them have only existed as rare and fairly expensive resin or vinyl kits. |

Good not great is a pretty good description. I've built several of their Patlabor, Escaflowne, and Rayearth kits; they're not Bandai level, maybe more like Kotobukiya several years ago, if that's any comparison. They'll definitely look fine snap-built out of the box, for the most part. They do some pre-painted parts which helps, though usually on the runner (not great for nubs), sometimes stickers. They can have some noticeable seamlines, but they usually don't remove them in their final product shots, so you at least know where they are and how annoying they'll be if you don't want to fix them. I agree with Beltane 70, in my experience the joints can be quite stiff, like "there is a good chance you will break this hip peg moving the leg" stiff. You can sand the joints down a bit to help, but you often won't know it needs it until you've snapped it together and it's too late. You're definitely paying for the niche-factor more than quality or size, but they do look good. One thing I can never fault is the proportions look great, at least if what you want is anime accuracy. I've never regretted getting one, but they're less fun to build than Bandai or Kotobukiya, even if you still end with something nice at the end. Definitely more model kit than action figure, whereas Bandai can kinda blend those two. |
