Huh I cant believe they just ruined Blue Reflection like that. Guess they are trying for a new market but in the process isolating their core fan base? I dont usually hope for games to fail especially when its a franchise I like but here we are.

I'm honestly amazed they added a male protagonist, going against all that Blue Reflection stands for

I feel it's DoA. Technically speaking it should cover a part of the story that was mentioned in Tie/Second Light, but considering the anime bombed, the game has performed worse sales wise (though I may be wrong on this one) and how long it took for this game to actually be shown....
I don't know how the general consensus on Tie/Second Light is. I personally found it awful, due to the setting and some questionable choices/pseudo-retcons regarding the previous game.

Can't really be too mad since it's DMM it would never have released to a western audience for me to play anyway
Just need to pray Gust doesn't get too discouraged from this and the anime flopping and they'll still make a third real game

Still kind of shocked they went all in on Blue Reflection with the whole multimedia shebang instead of Atelier.
I'm assuming Escha & Logy's anime didn't break any sales records, but Ryza was the most recognizable and best selling brand they owned and had already been out for 2 years when the announcement of Blue Reflection becoming a multimedia franchise was made and I'm not even the biggest fan of Ryza
