Seems like these are hitting all the classic beats of Shojo LN's...not that I mind.

While the light novel of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor is listed as shoujo on NU, the manga runs in a shounen magazine(Comp Ace) and is listed as shounen in most places.
It's also the only one on the list which I've been reading(manga version). Highly recommended, though if you're bothered by the age gap you might want to look elsewhere...(10-year-old Jill gets betrothed to an adult dragon emperor, and he can at times get quite physical and quite pushy in his affection/advances, to Jill's apparent dismay...)

I don't get the reasoning, but there are cases of shoujo LNs being picked up for manga adaptations and put in shounen publications/magazines. I think Sugar Apple (Fairy Tale?) is the same. I feel like there's more but I don't keep track that well.

Pretty cool to see a small publisher like CIW who are mainly known for licensing and publishing web novels(Even though they have licensed LNs for years) to announce four light novels including their first Kadokawa title.

They have some gems, even for us non-shoujo fans. I've been reading their Mynoghra title, which I originally followed as a manga. They just released the 4th volume of it.
