I'm glad they're finally rereleasing Rayearth in paperback, I would have loved to get the hardcovers but they were too expensive for me.

Isn't it Cat Noir? Or is this a French thang?

It's a French thing. The original title in France: "Miraculous, les aventures de Ladybug et Chat Noir"

I'd love to read the Miraculous manga, and definitely some interesting romcoms, romances, and Yuri/BL along with some collected editions in there.
But I am so here for Anashin doing a college romance. I loved Waiting for Spring!

I'm surprised Kodansha got the Miraculous Ladybug manga and not like Tokyopop as they seem to usually get all the US IP manga adaptations but I'm glad to see them pick this up instead. I'm also glad to see a cheaper re-release of the new translation of Rayearth and maybe now I'll finally be able to replace my ye olde Tokyopop releases of the Rayearth manga.

The manga is published by Kodansha in Japan so that probably had a lot to do with it.

You really think some company in the US is going to license a sports manga with over 1000 chapters that’s been in serialization since the 80’s?

So happy to see more manga from Nagisa Furuya being licensed! I own most of her stuff in Japanese, but will be looking forward to owning it in English as well.
I’m also very excited to see Super Morning Star on the list. It’s a fantastic series that I’ve read more than a few times over the past few years. Looking forward to it making me cry in English this time around too!

Chat is French for cat so it's basically the same thing.
Honestly surprised to see Miraculous acknowledged in the comments here.
I know it's on its 5th season and they are all full 26 episodes seasons, so I guess it really is popular with kids. Is there a lot of merch of it for kids in the US?

So happy for My Ultramarine Sky! I’ve read most of Furuya Nagisa’s stories, but this one is one of my faves along with Hoshi Dake Ga Shitteru. Now I’m hoping that one gets translated as well so I can buy it.
I’ve enjoyed the “My Summer” series from her, but Gunjo no Subete (My Ultramarine Sky) and Hoshi Dake Ga Shitteru are my faves.
