Sounds quite promising. And I hope they reach out to not just blockbuster IPs, but also best-selling web content (Novels or comics) that has huge anime influence, like Iron Widow. That would be another way to widen the content too.

Glad to see some of my favorite Japanese animation studios showing love for some of my favorite "overseas" productions/collabs (barring the Super Mario Bros. film, obviously). I'm not surprised that there was plenty of backlash to Batman Ninja back in the day, ironically for the very things they are praising. It's also nice to see Cyberpunk getting recognition from someone other than Kojima in Japan.

Leave it to the studio higher-ups to spin something that is obviously a symptom of a broken industry to something positive.

It's somewhat assuring to hear that overseas growth of anime doesn't effect the anime all that much.
