~2,2 million active players

To compare, WoW has ~120 million registered, ~1,2 million active players

(numbers are from this year)

The exact number of people playing varies at any given time, but it doesn't really matter. The fact is, the game is very popular and VERY profitable which for the player base means it's going to be supported for a very long time to come.

Yep, one counter is PlayerCounter which shows how many players in a game at the current time

There's even a list of Top 5 Countries where most players hail at that moment
