I hope this means we'll finally get a s2 of the anime soon. I'll be sad to see Clear Card end and having to say goodbye to Sakura and her friends again. Cardcaptor Sakura is such an important series for me.

I think this sequel series was at the level of Yasahime for biggest disappointment ever. I’m surprised other people seem to not mind it here.

I hope this means we get another anime season to cover the remainder of the manga. CCS is just too fun and cute to not get a full adaptation!

Friggin finally! I watched S1 of CCA Dubbed years ago (At or shortly b4 the pandemic hit) thinking I'd get spoiled by a S2 of CCA and re-watched the series b4 watching CCA only to end up waiting for YEARS of radio silence. With the occasional blip on the radar whenever of mobile game showed up or shut down... HOPEFULLY this means an anime of the rest of the manga will come much sooner than later and finish the story for CCA.
CCA S1 removed a lot of what made CCS magical and beloved, I don't follow or read manga so am hoping material in the manga the anime didn't get to cover yet fixed that and got better than what we got for S1 which felt like a giant set up for S2 which we've yet to get... I've been waiting for this day, for when the manga was announced as ending because I KNEW after so long of waiting that the anime wouldn't continue until the manga ended, so here's hoping it won't be much longer till we get an anime announcement for the rest of the CCA story. |

XXXHOLiC Rei serialization is set to be resumed in early 2023 once CCS is completed and I am PSYCHED.

While it's two more tankouban than the original, every volume has been shorter, so it's probably just a bit shorter than the original series. I think it was estimated that much like how the original was recently republished in 9 volumes, the new one at similar length volumes would hit 8 volumes most. |

All good things must come to an end...even if I never expected Cardcaptor Sakura to come back to begin with! So I'm happy for that.
I'm curious if they'll completely adapt it in anime form now. |

Despite the cliffhanger that CCA S1 left us at, I still followed the manga and it gave us so much material with various twists and thrills, while still keeping the charm the original series had. It's sad to hear it end, but I can't wait how big of a conclusion it will be after these last few chapters.
As far as a CCA S2...We might have to wait the following year. Maybe during the Winter season like S1 or on the 25th Anniversary of CCS's first episode airing will get an announcement. |
