My guess just looking at what's coming out in October is that it'll be at the end of the month. The 7th could have been possible, but I find it hard to believe that as a realistic date if it hasn't been announced by now. The 14th puts it against Halloween Ends and the 21st puts it against Black Adam, so I doubt they'll go in either of those spots. Nothing on the 28th looks all that strong, so that's where I would tend to believe it'll end up.

The reason nothing's releasing on the 28th is because studios are assuming Black Adam will be a hit and will be #1 for a couple of weeks. Since Black Adam is a genre action film, it's going for a similar audience as One Piece, so rather than compete with The Rock I'm guessing One Piece will release on the 14th. Halloween Ends is a horror movie so it won't be in direct competition with One Piece; the two films are going after different audiences.

Black Adam releases on my birthday but I don't really care about it, so if this releases the week after I could probably do that instead! I hope it sticks around too.

This is the weirdest movie release date announcement I've ever seen - and I'm pretty sure 90% of the people in that stadium even know what One Piece is.

Yeah, it seems like they wanted to make a splash but didn't know where to do it.

That's quite a quick release after the original came out in Japan in early August. I hope a UK release date is not too far behind (I'll be going to see it for definite).
