As much as I prefer most of the times for setting to be updated to the current era, maybe we don't need to see smartphones, and tablets in everything.
That said, it is still unknown if this will be set in 80s.

No Megane in the PV. Judging by his prevelancy in the original anime, I'm guessing they're going to stick to the manga much more.

Notice at the beginning of the trailer there's an old CRT TV, which is one hint it's set in the 80s.

I was hoping for Sawashiro playing Sakura. She played a similar archetype in Kyoukai no Rinne. Cherry I was hoping for Kenichi Ogata though.
Also it looks like Lum gets her rainbow hair colour from the manga when she's shocking people .That's pretty neat.

It was announced for 2022 and the Noitamina block is already filled for the summer, so it was obviously gonna be in October.

Wow, this voice cast is absolutely killer so far. Can't wait to see who gets announced next! (Fingers crossed that it's Shigeru Chiba reprising Megane.)
