Not often you see a piece about a historical wife of a leading Sengoku figure.
Although...is that her on the bottom right!?

It would've been nice to name the manga after her though.

So which episode of Meow Meow Japanese History is about her? I think I watched them all, but I don't remember.
Anyway, checked the wikipedia, for him, and did not come up with a name for her. Or two of her daughters, for that matter. Women - apologies - weren't always thought important in those times.
Maybe the author wanted a character that nobody knows anything about, so they could make up whatever they liked. Always helpful in a comedy.

Did I make an account just to share info about Kougetsu-in? Yes, yes I did. I'll attempt to keep it brief and simple.
Ishida Mitsunari's wife has no actual name recorded. Mitsunari called her Uta (うた) which is derived from her mother's surname Uda (宇多 or 宇田 and no relation to the Genji clan), and some works of fiction call her Rin. Her father is Uda Yoritada (his original surname is Bito/尾藤) and in conventional wisdom, he is the younger brother of Bito Tomonobu, but others believe he is a cousin or nephew. Tomonobu drew Hideyoshi's ire in 1587 during the conquest of Odawara, and so Yoritada took his wife's surname to avoid trouble.
Mitsunari and Kougetsu-in married in either 1577, 1578, or 1579 (it was calculated by their eldest daughter's age at the time of Sekigahara) though the mediation of Toyotomi Hidenaga. It is generally agreed that they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. (Their 2nd daughter is called Koishi-dono/小石殿 or 光岳院/I think the reading is Kogaku-in???)
Although it is commonly accepted that Uta's dharma name is Kougetsu-in, there is a recent-ish theory that her actual dharma name is 無量院 (Muryo-in???) and that she died in 1615 in Aizu.
As for her siblings, she has at least 1 confirmed sister. Her younger sister is Nagano-dono (長野殿) or Hoen-in (芳園院) and she is the wife of Ishikawa Yoriaki (石川頼明). Nagano-dono died in 1632. Uda Yorishige is either Kougetsu-in's younger brother or cousin. Either way, Yorishige married Sanada Masayuki's daughter, Choshu-in (趙州院) in an unknown year, and the marriage ended when Yorishige died in 1600. Yorishige is also known as Ishida Yoritsugu (石田頼次) because he was adopted by Mitsunari's dad. It is believed by some that the "Masayuki's wife is Kougetsu-in's sister" theory is a misrepresentation of the connection between the Sanada and Uda through Choshu-in and Yorishige.
It is nighttime for me right now so I'll answer any questions when I wake up. In any case, I am excited for the manga's upcoming release.
