This had an interesting concept and lovely art design but it was really held back by how short the episodes were. Like 90 seconds might been enough for a cute short about animals or something but not something with a plot like they were going for

If this is so short, will GKids be putting together a number of shorter works? Can’t see going to the theater for 12 90 second eps. A mini-fest might be cool though.

It will likely be screened with the recently announced Summer Ghost (45 minutes). Avex is involved with both titles. Run time together would be just over 1 hour (45 min. + 18 min.).

I'll be honest, I'm not really interested in going to the theater to watch a collective 18 minutes, especially since I'd have to pay for a ticket and transportation. It's nice that they licensed it, but I'd rather watch it on a streaming service
Edit: Post above was made before I finished writing mine, screening it with Summer Ghost would make sense

I wouldn't go out of my way to see this on the big screen maybe as apart of a screening collective.

GKIDS has run a lot of animated short in theaters. Many of the films they screened during Ghiblifest, for instance, had 1-2 short films beforehand. I can't see any reason they won't be able to get more short films to bulk up the theater time.
