It seems that its the most obscure Gundam even though its pretty new. Before watching it, I'd like to hear some opinion.
NO SPOILER please.

First of all Turn A Gundam is not gundam. Tomino never wanted the show to be a gundam show. THe only reason it has some connections to Gundam is because it was the only way Sunrise would agree to produce the show. So if you think of it as it's own show it's pretty damn cool.

I've seen Turn-A and like it, but it doesn't have the same features that make the other Gundam Series popular. The story is not mecha driven but character driven, and the story is told at a much slower pace than other series. If you are into big robots shooting at each other with big guns every episodes this series is not for you. On the other hand, this series does have many strong characters that act more mature & sophisticated than in most other anime series - both male & female.
In summary, the characters are the stars of the show, not the mecha, and it's definitely aimed at the older Gundam fan, not the G-Gundam crowd.

Turn A is one of the best Gundam shows ever. I'll add to what Lawn Dart said, that although the mecha battles are fewer and further between than in past shows, when they do happen, they're some of the best battles in the Gundam saga. But as Lawn Dart said, the real strengths of the show are its characters and story.
That said, if you're going to see the show, you should bear two things in mind. Firstly, see the TV series, not the movies. The movies are fine if you want to refresh yourself after having seen the TV series, but they are NOT a replacement for it. They move at an extremely fast pace and cut out a LOT of things, so if you've already seen the TV series you'll remember enough to fill in the blanks, but if you haven't, you'll be totally lost. The other thing is that if you intend to watch this show, you're going to be much better off if you know Japanese. As far as I know, no fansubbing project on it has progressed past the sixth episode, and the HK subs are among the worst I've ever seen. I'm currently replacing my HK set with the R2 DVDs, since the subtitles are so bad that they're a non-issue anyway.
I will disagree with one thing Lawn Dart said, that Turn A is "not for the G Gundam crowd." I suppose this isn't totally relevant to the subject of Turn A, but I always have to address knocks against G Gundam because it gets a lot of criticism it doesn't deserve. It's actually a really good show, but it often doesn't get the credit it deserves. The story may be a little simplistic, but the character interaction is as good as in any series. You don't see it so much early on, when the show is still focused on the Gundam Fight and Domon is just traveling from city to city, fighting random people. But it comes up later on, and most people I've talked to who gave the show a fair chance became fans.

Wasn't Turn-A the attempt to link the Universal Century, Future Century (G-Gundam), After Colony Century (Gundam Wing), and After War (After War Gundam X) timelines?
I want to se it. Maybe it'll be one of Bandai's Gundams for '05.

Yes, it was but I seen the first eight episodes of it. I couldn't figured which side was good or bad since it seem like it kept changing every episode. I may at some point to watch the series again but right now, I won't.

Turn A is not a Gundam series. The only reason Turn a has any connections to the Gundam Franchise is that it was the only way Tomino could get Bandai to produce it. It was originally meant to be a mech show with no connection to Gundam Whatsoever but it was not goin to get made that way.

I wouldn't hold my breath - I would bet that Turn A would be the last series brought over. It simply doesn't have either the tie-in merchandising ability of the remaining Gundam shows, and is the least likely to appeal to the Cartoon Network demographic.

Maybe they'll bring Gundam X. There aren't that many more to bring. Just X, ZZ, Victory and Turn-A, right?

Maybe it wasn't meant to be a Gundam series, but in the end it was made as one. It is a fact its a Gundam series. Its pretty clear.

I've seen some screenshots, and it really doesn't look like the Gundam that I know...but it does look good, and I look forward to seeing it in America...if it ever gets here...
