Looks like it's coming along nicely. Hopefully someday people who aren't Japanese will be able to go…

The article should be clearer - the 4 minute trailer is for Aichi tourism in general. The shorter trailer contains the bulk of the Ghibli related content.

I want an English subbed Mei and the Kitten Bus. The other 15 or so shorts would also be nice to have in BD/DVD and/or available by streaming.
It would be great if they could make a ride that would be like Nausicaä* flying her möwe (powered glider).
*More recent versions of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind have the Studio Ghibli production logo added in with those of the original production committee members before the start of the movie, even though of course the movie predates the formation of Studio Ghibli.

Interesting choice and place...
It's a huge park with a lot of room to spread out reproductions of locations and more importantly, people.
Feels like a better fit for Ghibli stuff instead of enclosed theme parks or museums.

I visited the park and the Satsuki no Mei house during Expo 2005. It was my first trip to Japan!
In case anyone is wondering, it's about 2.5 hours from Tokyo by train, or 4 hours by car. I will definitely be making the trip out to see this on my first visit to Japan after the park opens (although hopefully I'll be going back to Japan well before it opens).
