Holy hell that takt op drop. I dipped out fairly early on, but I didn't expect it to have one of the worst endings of the season

Heh, I don't think I've ever seen a series claw its way out of the depths of the cumulative ranks to a pretty respectable mid-level before like Tricornered Window did. Somehow it seems fitting.

I imagine a show could increase in ranking simply because people who are ambivalent on it are dropping it. So say you have 5 people watching it who rank it 4,5,4,2,3 and the 2,3 drop it the show will have its ranking increase even if doesn't actually increase quality. So maybe its more a case of a lot people going in early thinking it'd be very different rather than it getting better with time.

I'm glad Tricornered Window got the rating it did, it may not have been the absolute best show but it no where near deserved next to bottom spot.

Well, 86 did salvage itself on the polls with Ep. 21. But with the production issues that resulted in delays, due to Aniplex not giving A-1 enough time before airing the 2nd half; I felt 86 underperformed in the Fall 2021 season (and for 2021) because it hasn't properly concluded yet.
Reminder; Ep. 22 & 23 have been moved to March (well out of this season's polls).

I was also rooting for Tricornered Window. The later episodes are highly rated, but there were just too few people still rating the show compared to the first episode.
Mieruko-chan is another show that started low and the cumulative rating climbed right up after enough high-rated episodes. The difference is that there were still many people watching and rating the show.
