If he's anything like Nobuhiro Watsuki, he'll pay a fine, his editors will treat it with as much severity as burning a bagel in the toaster, he'll continue his manga, and it will get a movie and another season.

Possibly. Watsuki and Ruroni Kenshin are both super famous though so Iunno if this guy will have quite the same luck. I hope not.

There a difference in these 2 cases. In Watsuki case, the CP he possessed was obtain before Japan banned them and he didn't get rid of them. So it more a case of failed to comply with the new law. In this case, this guy import CP after it have been made illegal.

This is pretty different from Watsuki's case though. Watsuki had something that was legal at the time he bought it and didn't become illegal until 2014. Kenya was actively importing someting illegal into the country, and a lot of it too. He's almost certainly going to jail.

That not exactly true. This is something that happen almost everywhere on Earth, just that most cases don't get report on an Internation Website. Like in my country i sometimes see a couple of case like this in a years but i don't think most people outside of my country even know about it.
