Honestly, I would have expected the number to be higher. But then I remember that I'm probably just skewing the perception in my own brain because of all the people out there I happen across who actually only spend months tweeting about their upcoming debut and that they will have a model to show off any day now.

I dunno. Life seems happier having an idol to simp on. Atleast not like, creepily. But ever since I started watching the EN Hololive girls my stress levels started to reduce.

Probably a lot more if you count people who use animated avatars on twitch and youtube or part time use. As opposed to people pushing the anime girl persona segment.

The number is much higher. This total is only for Vtubers that are being tracked by this particular website.

I would be willing to bet the number is closer to 100k including twitch/youtube/untracked people. Speaking as one I know there are a lot of us  . Any other ANN forum vtubers kicking around? haha

Animazement is having a virtual 2 day convention with a showcasing of independent VTubers on Saturday the 23rd at 4:00 to 4:30 and 5:30 to 8:30.

It wasn't that long ago when I found out there were about 10,000 Vtubers in the world. I'm glad there are a lot to choose from. I've actually tried new foods thanks to Ayamy and I just posted this right when the Ethyria Uno collab is ending.
