Heh, she doesn't seem to have the vibe of being "oppressed" or in "bondage". Feels more like another of those "Westchester preppies" anime. So yeah I don' know maybe you want to re-work on the marketing angle here or somehing.

I really want to like this anime, but that "Crunchyroll Original" stench it has gives me mediocre low-tier Netflix anime vibes.

I'm honestly really excited for it. It looks really well animated at the very least, and it reminds me of the pirate arc of Yona of the Dawn which I loved.

This looks pretty cute and fun. The animation also looks pretty crisp and clean.
I'm a sucker for a good knight protecting his lady dynamic and romance, but I hope Fena isn't just a damsel in distress when she's the titular pirate princess.

I can't be the only one thinking that the promo image makes her look like a knock off Asseylum from Aldnoah.Zero, right?

Let"s get this out of the way. This is an adult swim anime. Like Bladerunner, this was planned by adult swim first. Crunchyroll just got the rights to it.
