They also got The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated

EDIT: This tweet has been deleted. I didn't get to screenshot this but the cat is already out of the bag. It'll be streaming "worldwide ex Asia".

Crunchyroll is dubbing three shows that are continuing this season (Iruma-kun, To Your Eternity, Tokyo Revengers), and there are two sequel seasons that will likely get dubbed (Standing on a Million Lives, My Next Life as a Villainess), so I wonder if they'll fit in anything new.

Weren't they confirmed to have the Tsukimichi Isekai show a while back? I might be remembering wrong.

Funimation obviously has the second season of Slime locked in and probably Kobayashi as well.

I wonder who will get The Detective is Already Dead.

Most likely they could try Girlfriend, Girlfriend, Peachboy Riverside, Aquatope on the White Sand or The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace.

Huh. For some reason I was fully expecting Funimation to get Aquatope.

Same I'm surprised, it seems like something they would get (though I can't put my finger on why).

Though I don't know why Crunchyroll is calling it Aquatope when the official PA Works twitter refers to it as Aquatrope multiple times 1 2 3. Even the original announcement refers to it as "auatrope" which while mispelling the first part still has the "trope".

They have gotten the last few PA Works shows.

The licensor should be Kadokawa, so licensee is most likely Funimation.

Official website domain spells it "aquatope": https://aquatope-anime.com/

It doesn't help that P.A. themselves is spelling the name multiple ways. The katakana name (アクアトープ), though, maps to "aquatope" (akuatōpu).

As far as I know Funi is not in any exclusivity partnership with Kadokawa so this show is all fair game between CR and Funi.

Yeah, isn't Re:Zero and Shield Hero Kadokawa? And Crunchyroll got those.

Oh I see, that makes sense. The issue seems to be how inconsistent they are (even mistranslating it in the initial announcement like I posted).

It's just wrapping up that arc.
