I enjoy the graphic novel, although I'd kind of prefer traditional animation to the inevitable CGI...

Stephen Chow taking yet another swipe at the Monkey King, only fully animated this time rather than somewhat animated as in Journey to the West or not at all like in Chinese Odyssey?
Alright I'm in.

Mech Cadets, nice idea, I have no interest in Polygon Pictures.

It looks...bad. Generic designs, the name of Polygon...just bad. Bad all around.

This has to be a mistake. It's says Polygon Pictures but I see colors? Bright colors even!

Apparently going by the image promo Polygon may be changing the mechs designs. I have not read the comic myself but according to people who have the mech designs are intended to be based on tokusatsu with touches of Mazinger Z and Evangelion which is different from the mech see in the anime image.

And they may have also slimmed down a plus-sized character which is also not good.

Cool. The mini-series was a lot of fun.

That CG is extremely bad, you'd think Netflix would be offering better budgets to make things closer to Castlevania and Yasuke quality.

Aliens, mechas in school, hum ... Does it end with the heroines using a planet size ship/gravity bomb to annihilate the aliens and take 3000 years to climb out of the gravity well and return to Earth?

Technically speaking this isn’t listed as anime, but this is “commercial for mobile slot machine” bad.
