Yes! Hope they dub it too. Such a great show, I'm glad someone is releasing it.

Was there an issue with the original translation when it was on Amazon?

Yeah, it almost read like a tilted and cold script with the lack of exclamation points. |

While I am happy that Sentai has licensed such a fantastic show, I wish Funimation had licensed it instead because they might have helped to finance more seasons.
It is very likely getting a dub because Sentai is giving it a LE box. |

I know a lot of fans have wanted an English dub of the show (even though I felt like the performances on the sub were terrific) so I'm happy Sentai is releasing it and likely with a dub.
Now if they could just release and dub Boarding School Juliet... |

All of them...at least as far as Sentai shows are concerned. |

I really, really hope this gets a dub! This series deserves the widest international audience it can garner!

I’m just excited Sentai was able to license it. I’m absolutely getting the Collector’s Edition. As they announced a late Summer release this should place it slightly ahead of Volume 12 slated for Statewide release in October. And I’m in agreement with you if they could release & dub Boarding School Juliet. My other desire being they acquire Re:Creators though I’m well aware it wasn’t received or recognized by much of the Anime Community to my knowledge. But hey I’ll take good news whenever it’s available |

I'll buy it if they provide a worthy dub for the show.

I fount the original cast amazing, especially Naoya Uchida(who was also Daigo in Dororo) as Askeladd. But I'm glad it got a home release. I'm confident the dub will at least be fine to listen to. At least it didn't get one of those simuldubs where the actors are doing 10 other shows at the exact same time.

Dang, Sentai has been killing it with the home video announcements lately. Lots of good stuff coming from them.
I just want someone to rescue Re:Creators from Amazon jail.
My understanding is that when Re:Creators was originally coming out, it was by far the most popular anime being streamed on Amazon. But after the show ended it sort of fell off the radar as Amazon moved away from anime and attention switched to other seasonals. These days most anime fans are barely aware that Amazon even has anime, much less that some of it is exclusive. And Amazon clearly has no desire to promote that aspect of their service anymore, so as a consequence Re:Creators has basically languished. |
