Nani?! Of all the show to get an S2... this? It wasn't a bad show but this is literally the first time I've heard any mention of this show after it was over. As far as I can tell it has no following or hype, never even saw someone share a gif of it. Sometime this industry baffle me...

I don’t care if people hate this show, I’m personally looking forward to more. I’ve read all the light novels that have been released so far. Haven’t started the manga yet.
Another season of Isekai Izakaya would be great |

I'm surprised we finally see the day when OLM replaces Silver Link for a project.

^ It just means that Silver Link is too busy to make this shit, and OLM is probably willing to take this show.

I’ll just point you to the previous thread, when a new anime was listed but not yet confirmed with cast and studio. Just because you haven’t seen people talk about a show on social media or forums doesn’t mean people aren’t interested. |

I get that, but sooooooooooo many anime have fan clamouring for sequel/remake I'm always baffle they go for these high hanging fruits. |

^They have to weigh a lot more factors than social media buzz, though the precise reasons will vary for each project and may ultimately only be known to those involved in producing it. Whether that is there not being enough source material to make more, studio/staff availability, source material having ended and there being no other business case to make an anime, the original author being displeased with the original adaptation and not wanting to go through that process again, a series being made too recently to be remade, a show having a lot of vocal fans online but not having made enough return on the original anime to warrant the investment in more, etc.
There’s also the matter that producers behind anime are investing in an anime project to support other stuff their companies are doing, be it manga, light novels, merch, events, etc., not to support anime production in general. There’s not a central authority planning every anime that is made, just different groups of companies working to forward their own business interests. The primary reason these specific producers may not be making some other anime people online are asking for is that their company wasn’t involved in that other project, and so they aren’t the ones who would make it, or even the ones who get to decide of it is made at all. |

Maybe it's unpopular opinion?? But, my family enjoyed season 1 and will be happy to watch another season of this.

One can only assume it's popular enough in Japan to bring it back for a second season. I will be more than happy to watch it as I really liked season 1.

Looking forward to this. I thought it was a very nice slice of life show. I also happen to enjoy any anime dealing with cooking as a topic.

That's the funny part people clamour for a sequel or re-do of something (which doesn't always happen). Yet when they make a sequel to something. "WHO ASKED FOR THIS"? Which I get for anime that objectively sucked but I haven't heard much negative feedback about this anime. And yet some people's feelings got hurt with this. |

Objectively? You mean stuff that would be more divisive right? Objective would refer to more around the line of Hand Shaker and it's sequuel, Wz. Though stuff that isn't these that would still fall under the "WHO ASKED FOR THIS?" principle would be more or less of a divisive sequence, not an objective one. |

Um, no, I LIKED Handshakers. That one can’t be decisively swept under as objective if that’s not to your taste, as most art should be subjective. For this, however... I’ve been waiting for it. A second season. This is actually one of the only anime I can think of that’s quite literally family-friendly, and really deserves it. It’s such a fun and loving series about wholesome food and bonds. It’s a dream come true! |
