Now, THAT is something that would be crazy to see.

Lets be real. Deadpool would be the perfect partner to the walking idiocy that is Denji. I can hear Deadpool singing the theme song right now.
"Chansawman and Deadpool
A Gardening Tool and a Fool"

Chainsaw Man is so wild. But what really makes it special is it’s heart. I read Fire Punch, and I was turned off by its nihilism and try hard edginess. Chainsaw Man balanced a similar stew of ultra violence and pitch black humor with genuine character interactions. Somehow, I bought Denji and Power as siblings who really care about each other, which was so charming and shouldn’t have made sense, but it does. Their interactions as an unrelated pair in a teen boy and teen girl bodies forced to live together by circumstance felt more genuinely and hilariously sibling-like to me than most blood related brother-sister pairs in manga, certainly better than the main character and his sister in Fire Punch. It’s kind of amazing.
I can’t wait to see the series animated and read part 2 (I hope it doesn’t get too nihilistic)
