If I were one of the however many hundreds or thousands of people laid off when the hedge funds tanked TRU, I'd be pissed.

The TЯU in my town was very profitable (so said the general manager of the store) and is still vacant. Hopefully it will reopen.

I hope that this time will work for them! I know they had tried to open two new concept/experience stores on the East Coast, but due to the pandemic they were both shuttered. I just really miss going to stores like Toys R Us, and I'd love to see them make a real comeback.

Good luck, I remember the last comeback attempt and it was pretty disappointing. It was in a big mall a few miles away from me in a town that used to have 2 big stores but this one was in a small space. If it did well pre-pandemix then I guess this new attempt can work but it'll be interesting to see where they go this time.

I kinda like that Toys R Us is making a comeback. I also hope that there are some other businesses I miss that also return from the ashes like the phoenix. I'd like that a lot.
