As per the previous request about Hiei's jacket, his manga-ized jacket is shown at 12:58-12:59, instead of at 13:58 etc. Sorry about that.
I tried to input an approximation of the kanji on https://kanji.sljfaq.org/, where one uses a mouse to try to draw kanji into a box for translation. There are time when I am actually able to make it work for me, heheh. I seem to have been lucky this time, in that '極悪' were actually in the 'possible matches' return list. Using the translation site https://www.deepl.com/translator (self-billed as 'the world's best machine translation') - which usually returns more realistic definitions than Google's - there was a possibility given as 'evil course'. With this as a frame of reference and taking into consideration how many of Hiei's powers reference 'Darkness' in their titles, would Hiei's jacket read more along the lines of 'Path of Darkness' or 'Way of Darkness' ('Dao of Darkness') ? |

As part of Japanese delinquents' subculture, tokkō-fuku often have words, and those words are often words with which wearers boast and make a show of their delinquency or 'delinquent-ness'. '極悪' on tokkō-fuku is one of such words.
'極' functions as a kanji which strengthens the 'degree' of the next kanji. '悪' means 'bad' as in a 'bad guy'. So '極悪' on the tokkō-fuku can be translated as 'Extremely bad', 'Very wicked', and the like. |

Thanks for the clarification.
Kuwabara's headband while studying. I assume it has to do with his new drive to take school more seriously, as the poster shown a few seconds earlier shows his intention of getting into a particular high school 'annex'. Episode 96, at the 14:12 - 14:13 second mark: https://www.funimation.com/shows/yu-yu-hakusho/three-strangers-three-kings/uncut/?lang=english&marathon=true Episode 97, at the 17:55+ mark, the 2nd poster shown as the view pans right: https://www.funimation.com/shows/yu-yu-hakusho/departing-living-world/uncut/?lang=english&marathon=true Episode 98, at ~2:04+, another set of posters above where Kuwabara is studying (and book titles if not too much to ask :-p): https://www.funimation.com/shows/yu-yu-hakusho/return-to-demon-world/uncut/?lang=english&marathon=true |

It's a pleasure. The kanji on the headband say, '[I will] pass the examination.' The part equivalent to 'annex' in the poster's text means that the high school is attached to a university/college.
The poster says, '[I will] absolutely pass the examination for the high school attached to the Kon Technical College.' Since the 1st poster has a picture of a skeleton (gai-kotsu), the anime artist might have intended to write, 'Kai/Gai Technical College,' like the poster in Episode 98, however. The key kanji in the poster in Episode 97 shape-wise resembles the key kanji in the poster in Episode 98, but the way to read the key kanji in the poster in Episode 97 is 'kon'. And Kon/Kai/Gai are probably part of the abbreviated way to call the college's name, perhaps I should say that name of the college is the 'Kon/Kai/Gai -Kō Dai' technical college.
The posters say, 'The target is the high school attached to Kai/Gai Technical College' and 'Yukina is my life.' The books' titles are '[A subject where students learn Japanese] classical literature' and 'Physics 1 ("Physics 1" is a term which was used in high-school education/exams for universities under an old system, and roughly speaking it covered a basic part of physics for high-school students)' and 'Mathematics 2 ("Mathematics 2" is a term used in high-school education/exams for universities, and roughly speaking it covers an intermediate part of mathematics for high-school students).' |

Episode 106, at about 19:10, though its obvious what the chart is implying, I still don't know the exact wording in the center bit:
https://www.funimation.com/shows/yu-yu-hakusho/the-battle-of-father-and-son/uncut/?lang=english&marathon=true Episode 112 - the last episode of the series - about 7:08 for the in-paper headlines on either side of Hiei's image, then headlines again a few seconds later shown on the front / back of the paper at about 7:10 - 7:11. A different angle of the front page is show at about 7:15 or so. https://www.funimation.com/shows/yu-yu-hakusho/to-the-future-2/uncut/?lang=english&marathon=true |

The kanji say, 'Winning the championship.'
A red headline says, 'Impostors appear one after another.' A blue headline says, 'Successively in Ōsaka and Kōchi.' The black-and-white headlines say, 'A new alien...the Earth...' (We cannot see the verb) and 'This is the alien.' A blue headline says, 'A new invasion of the Earth?' |
