So, chapter 139 then? I guess this means the final volume will have 5 chapters instead of the usual four, something that hasn't happened since volumes 2 and 4.

And a hell of one I must say. ---- What I find fascinating about this manga is that most of what the second part its composed of its so obviously made to milk the series.... yet, it's so well made and complements the overall theme of the series so in point that if you told me it was planned like that from the beginning I would have believed you. |

We've been pretty much at the endgame for a few chapters now, I guess we have 3 more for the closure (this month included) and 1 more for the epilogue. However it ends, people are definitely going to talk about it, either for the right or the wrong reasons: let's hope for the former.

Wait, so 5 chapters for the final volume? Will it be an extended tankoubon volume or a normal length one but with shorter chapters like volume 2-5? Either way, I hope Isayama nails the ending and get some (well deserved) rest after.

This one has been one of my top anime/manga. It's been a roller-coaster of a ride and one full of twists and turns. I'm sad to see it end, yet glad to be part of the fandom.

I lost track of the plot for this series about 3 years ago. I'll read until the end, but this has been a confusing one for me and I look forward to it being over.

It’s sad news but I knew this day would come. Since around summer 2013, it was a great feeling looking forward to reading the new chapter on the first Thursday of every month. Thank you for the great story, Hajime! It’s too rare in manga and anime, unfortunately.

I'm glad the manga is ending. Not because its bad, but it's ending before it unnecessarily drags out. I haven't agreed with every decision made in the made, but for the most part its been pretty damn stellar.

This is a pretty good time to finish this story. Honestly so much work has been put into this story and it's been worth it. We don't need this to go on forever like one piece...
