Pizza Hut (company#10876)
Pizza Hut Japan (company#12806) All of the credits for Pizza Hut are Japanese credits, so there's not really much point to have them separated. Pizza Hut Japan should just be merged into Pizza Hut. |

Hey ,
I don't know if someone have already reported this but Studio Kikan (company#3980), Pierrot Plus (company#8368) & Studio Signpost (company#19165) (stylized St. Signpost (company#19279)) are the same company... The studio was known Studio Kikan from 1993, before its renaming for Pierrot Plus after joining the studio Pierrot's group in 2009, and takes its actual name St. Signpost in september 2019. Since Deluxe it's a world-wide dubbing company with headquarters in several countries, maybe all this pages should be merged:

#11540 Asmik Ace Entertainment, Inc.
#16155 Asmik Ace, Inc. These seem to be referring to the same company, not different divisions of it, as they even link to the same web page. I think the correct name to use for it should be just “Asmik Ace”, as that’s how it appears in its logo, and ANN doesn’t usually include official affixes. E.g., it uses “Anime Limited” because that company is usually referred to by its full legal name (as just “Anime” is too generic) but not “GKIDS, Inc.”, because that company usually refers to itself as just “GKIDS”. |

Hulu Japan is a tricky one, as it began as a division of the US company but has for the last 6 years been under different ownership. It joins a long history of such companies that began as branches of Western companies before splitting off (and sometimes going on to far greater success than the original company), such as Nippon Columbia, Lawson, DWANGO, Yahoo! and HMV. I think, if my opinion is worth anything, that, to prioritize the future over the past, they should be separate companies, and the ANN article for the US Hulu needs to have the Japanese-version credits separated from it and correctly attributed to the Japanese one. In contrast, all the local divisions of Netflix are under the same ownership and should definitely be merged. |

Toranoana Inc. (company#6753)
Tora no Ana (company#2654) They're two spelling variations of the same company. The company itself uses Toranoana in one word. https://www.toranoana.jp/en/ |

Boing (-) (company#5739)
Boing (Spain) (company#8588) Boing (Italy) (company#11463) Boing (France) (company#13962) Boing is a TV channel available in Italy, Spain, France and Sub-Saharan Africa. However, I think all of them should be merged as Boing (without any precision). I accidentally created Mētele (company#20203), which is the nickname used by Nagoya Broadcasting Network (company#1153), and should be merged into it so that I and possibly others don't make the mistake again.

I almost made a mistake like that, good thing I looked more closely at the JP Wikipedia page. I found out about that when I was entering the production committee for Iwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls- this morning.

Nagoya Railway Co., Ltd. (#14742) and Nagoya Railroad Co., Ltd. (#9022) I think it's safe to assume are different translations of the same Japanese name.
Searching for "Nagoya Railway" only brings up pages titled "Nagoya Railroad" or "Meitetsu". Going on its official site, Meitetsu is the name it uses publicly in both Japanese and English, 名古屋鉄道 is its Japanese legal name and Nagoya Railroad is its English legal name. Considering its credits on ANN as a finding body rather than a rail company, I think using "Nagoya Railroad" as the main display name makes most sense. Searching for "Nagoya Satellite Studio" brings up no results other than the company on ANN (#8410). I suspect that, Nagoya Statelite Studio (#8491) and Satelight Nagoya Studio (#8894) are all the same company. |
