I remember a few weeks ago wondering if Crossbone Gundam Ghost had ended yet - I thought it was just humming along slowly. And of course, not only was it already done, it was a whopping 11 volumes, and THIS came out and is already ALSO 11 (probably 12) volumes! (For reference, the original Crossbone is 6, and Steel 7 is 3)
I wonder how many decades it'll be before there'll be any chance to read all of this one way or another
And, I suppose I can't help but wonder if there'll be yet another Crossbone(born?) or if this is really it this time.

The Crossbone Gundam series needs an anime and definitely a console game.

Isn’t the rumor that Crossbone will FINALLY get an anime after the Hathaway movies? So probably years from now, earliest.

I agree on the Anime part. It's one of the most popular Gundam series yet it still doesn't have an Anime.

Citation needed for it being one of the most popular series. Spoiler: it isn't.

Yeah you're right I'm not sure about in Japan, but I think outside of Japan it's one of the more well known series, it's definitely more well known than NT and Thunderbolt from what I've seen, but those both got adapted before.

I'm willing to debate you on that, honestly. Outside of Japan, no one knows much about the plot happenings or mobile suits of Ghost or Dust, simply because information isn't available and fans are too lazy to read. But, that's like that for most if not all Gundam manga anyways. I can almost guarantee you that no one knows what the hell is going on in Dust, other than the fact that it's now ending. People need to stop pining over a potential Crossbone anime simply because it'll never happen. There's a reason why some of the enemy units were released as P-Bandai kits: they're hideous and do not translate well into Gunpla (plus didn't sell well anyways from what I've read on blogs and whatnot).
Narrative doesn't count as an adaptation because the original Phoenix Hunting novel is drastically different from the movie we got. Thunderbolt was an exception (much like the Origin) on account of the massive number of copies in print/sold.

Why was Crossbones changed to Cross Born? Sounds weird bad translation.
The original Crossbones was more pirate against bad government orbit of Jupiter, but that was ages ago. Dust is pretty far ahead in the future. I can't say I like the Mech designs, i mean i understand they want do something new, but none of them remotely look like a Gundam, or that not important now?
Any case, doesn't look like this did well to continue for some reason Manga wise.
Question now is; Is it canon Gundam or a disposable side story?
