That’s nice to know. This was the only anime series that I watch from this franchise not even it’s sequel series V-Force and G-Revolution. I just had fun watching this back then.

Cool. I remember watching this. Kai was my favorite character.

You'd think they would take this time to release a Japanese version with English subs. Fans need a new experience and whats better than finally experiencing the original series in Japanese. Of course, i'm not saying that they shouldn't release this English dub. Cater to both sides.

Well the series has never been subbed before, so they would've had to spend money to produce one. The dub already exists, so it requires no work or money whatsoever, which is probably why they decided to upload it. Of course there is probably little to no demand for either sub or dub, but they probably thought they'd may as well make some money on what they already have.

Haha, I remember comparing Kai to Sasuke =03. The voices are just so bad, they're good (>< ); gotta love those cheesy lines. Those were simpler times.

The Burst and the Metal Saga shows stream on YouTube, so they might as well bring out the first one. There are apparently plans to celebrate the original's 20th anniversary in some fashion, so this could just be a slow buildup to that.

Did anyone notice they changed the ending credits? They are now just white text on black background. They no longer have the graphics I remember seeing on TV. I wonder what's the point of this, especially since they kept the original ending credits (with English VA names) for the Latin American episodes they posted on the same channel. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I did notice that. This is how the credits were originally handled. Anyone with Discotek's SDBDs able to check which version is on there? It's really strange the Latam dub uploads have the proper sequence but the English one doesn't.
I have to think someone grabbed unfinished materials from Nelvana. If they did go through the effort of making new credits, why and how come they didn't make them episode-specific? Got to wonder if there are any other changes.
