I love how this show is so sex-positive. And with this last ep, it's also menstruation positive! This might be the most wholesome "totally not a hentai"

I thought the role playing dungeon segment had a number of pretty good elements. The awful acting Minotaur being one of them, especially upsetting Kanchal out of his immersion. Notably compared to the human girl who seemed quite proud of her acting ability, I think she might be one of the few humans shown. And also that Crim kept feeling bad, and I think might have had tables turned on him, which apparently is his preferred. Followed by the after segment, at I think breakfast, that showed them discussing future plans. I could go for more of the girls when not working, and not things like Mitsue's room or Professor parts.

Angel Mayo was a brilliant image to use in place of Crim. I laughed hard but also cringed as I was thinking about the succubus really draining him of his "mayo" to the last drop.

I thought the first segment was the better one as I immediately recognized the genre, no, location and time period of film they were parodying even if making it Inquisition themed should have been a giveaway.
They even did the film grain and aging effects, even I have to admit it's too good for this audience... and all the work done in by bad, bad acting/dubbing. Yes, it usually was but at least the women looked good. The second one stays out of Japan by going biblical, real Old Testament stuff and by that, I mean Tower of Babel. This is whole series is an inversion of the Babylon story, where different people instead of separating into different races from creating this affront to God come together... Is that a triple or quadruple pun? There's just so many layers to one visual location as the Ur brother but, sure, focus on the angel mayo. And angel Crim being a customer at Babel makes it a quintuple pun. Oh, and calling it an "Ur example" referencing ancienet Sumerian city Ur and probable Babel building model zigguraut makes it an even sextuple pun. Interspecies Reviewers would want it that way. In other words, why is this series not only trying to be smart but succeeding at it? When 70s European exploitation movies and the Old Testament gets referenced in the same episode, do they even know who their audience is? |

Think about it as a comiket that is always open, in the middle of a major trade route, maybe near an ocean port and/or a big desert (maybe there is even a rent-a-roc nearby), where year round you have lots of people leaving/returning to this land.
No, no, it has to be an officialy licensed product with the same label we saw in the segment! Add a live-action commercial with a grade school girl making herself a sandwich and saying "It tastes like heaven" for maximum wtf points.
This is the opposite of what we saw in copcraft, where a world with magic was introduced to mundane porno magazines, but it makes sense since sex sells and if you have a world where magic has become a household commodity (I am looking at those ceiling fans in the pub where our cast mingles) the only real question is if there are pirate magic crystals and yeah, I have been looking forward to the undead episode since it was hinted in the ED sequence, no doubt this time they will be sucked bone dry

Has not "cultured adults with an open mind and horny teenagers" been anime's main audience since forever ?
There's an isekai where one of the girls is so sexually active she uses magic-detox to get heself fixed of all the stuff she catches... same isekai that has the mc casting heal on himself while he is having se with his athletic girlfriend after 5 years of not seeing each other "oh she might be feeling shy, so I should not push her into it" then transitioning it to her humping him so hard his ribs keep on breaking make it oneof the best sex scenes in japanese media. |

That wouldn't be JK Haru is a Sex Worker in Another World, would it? I can think of a couple of titles where stuff like this has been done, though in both of the other case it was done to cure someone who had been victimized; both the second season of Overlord and the novel Seriously Seeking Sister! had that. No doubt something like that exists in the world of this series, though we haven't seen any mention of it yet. |

Well that was pretty steamy. Easily one of the raunchiest eps and Crim really had it a lot better than Stunk and the others this time.
She does. Its just obviously censored out along with the yuri |

Ah yeah, that one too, that reminds me to check on newer chapters of it. I was talking aobut mushoku tensei, tho if you are only familiar with the manga it's barely implied here unlike in the wn where it's downright said. I am not familiar with the light novel in particular though I have heard they have censored the raunchier stuff. though elinalize makes haru look like a prude. |

I don't know Japanese well enough to know if the line "however, the smell was not to die for" was a literal translation or not, but A plus to whomever wrote that. Also, this is the second time I have wondered, do the Japanese consider zombies and Frankenstein's monster to be the same thing, or is it just a gap in translation, or is the difference is just understood visually? I know technically they are the same thing at the most basic level, but if you said "there's a zombie", I'm not expecting to see a Frankenstein's monster.

Yeah, this kind of bothered me too, the "zombie" girl (which looks like a flesh golem) is what I expected in the episode where the wooden puppets were shown. Call me weird, but it was kind of a downer that the girls are immortal but do nothing with their free time. How about a low level lich (of the fleshy kind, Wiz anyone?) doing magical item research? or a vampire spawn that indulges in reading books? or a mummy that tends the garden and makes potions? All in all, straight up skeletons and zombies don't seem like a good choice for a 1500 years old vampire lord harem. Also, if the ghost has been earthbound for so long, can't it level up and do like Yuuna from the Haunted Hot Springs? Even in the original Ghostbusters movie there was a female ghost that could do a b**w job! Last but no least, perfumes are not OOPArts since they have existed at least since a thousand years before Christ; maybe vampires do not breath but they do retain their sense of smell (since they can detect garlic) so having one of the girls learn how to craft perfumes would be a no brainer! Well, I blame the low energy vampire lord for the lack of creativity |

It appears that Madman submitted this show to the Australian OFLC just to make sure they were in the clear legally, and not only was it passed, it only got an MA15+ rating! (AnimeLab is - was? - streaming the censored version with an R18+ rating.)
And this is after that senator just raised a fuss about anime. Never thought I'd say this, but the OFLC is absolutely based. Also makes Funimation look even more ridiculous for pulling this. |
