Can't wait. Personally I prefer Railgun out of the entire franchise (though I still need to check out Accelerator)

They did mention Accelerator being in 2019 in the announcements, but the Railgun one didn't mention a date. There was however mention of Railgun 3 being slated for 2019 in an interview with the Raildex creator and their editor for Newtype magazine about a month later, which is probably what you are recalling. To be fair to them, Winter 2020 is about as close as you can get to 2019 without being in it, and it has to have been in production this year to air then. |

Yeah, this will be, at worst, one of my top viewing priorities of the Winter '20 season. Accelerator's okay, but Mikoto is a better character and has a better supporting cast around her.

Ah, more Kongou in 2020. I'm happy with this.
Personally do like the cast of Railgun the most out of all the Index related series (even though Accelerator and Last Order are my fave, the Accelerator series isn't as good as Railgun). And Kongou is best girl. |

I am glad for the delay it is improves the animation because index III and accelerator had less than stellar animation. I am so hyped for January now. Misaka is my favorite character in the Toaru series.

I'm fine with this. I'll already be watching My Hero Academia and Psycho-Pass this October (at the very least), so now I don't have to worry about fitting this into my viewing schedule. I'm caught up with the Daihaisei Festival arc from the manga, so I know what to expect. With that in mind, I hope that the season's last batch of episodes feature especially spectacular animation, to reflect the climactic final battle.

I'm pretty sure you're right about that, so this just seems to be a 'short' delay. I have the sneaking suspicion that production didn't go well for this either, like Index. But we can take hope in knowing that we're getting the Daihaseisai and more importantly, Shokuhou AND Sogiita. 
I'm cool with waiting a little longer, as I think any To Aru fan would be.

I can only hope that half of the series isn't filler this time. Cause boy oh boy, when Railgun is actually adapting the manga material it's really really good.

Man I haven't gotten into these Magical Index/Railgun series although they do look interesting.
