Thank you for reporting this!
RIP to Michael Lindsay too.
{Edit}: It is EXTREMELY tacky to request to be mentioned in regards to an article about someone passing. ~ Psycho 101

As a longtime Digimon fan, I mainly know Michael Lindsay for his Digimon work. In addition to Joe and Greymon, he also was the original English voice of Agumon in the first two episodes of Digimon Adventure. I also really enjoyed his performance as Yamagata in the Animaze dub of Akira. Joe has always been a fan favorite character and Michael Lindsay always did the perfect job portraying him. He will be missed by his fans. RIP and my heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

I was waiting for their article on this. For the past week I was wondering why it was ignored and wondered how I could let them know.
It really sucks....RIP. I know just a few years ago he wanted to come back and voice Joe in the Tri movies, but was never contacted. I wish he was as we could have had one last performance with him...

Does anyone know the reasoning to his death? He was 56 but that's still fairly young

Probably waiting for confirmation. Remember when people thought Akira Toriyama died from a car crash and that wasn't true.

According to Doug Stone on his Facebook, Michael was in rather poor health at the end of the 2000s/start of the new '10s so he moved away to Maryland. He got remarried and had two children before his passing. Another friend from outside the business said that Michael had always had a frail condition and that it had finally caught up with him (mainly from liver failure, but the friend said there were plenty of other problems).
So sad for Digimon fans, on top of losing Robert Axelrod in the same month.

Well that's very sad, more so considering his age.

1st heard about this from a Transformers site as he voiced several chacaters for the American "Robots In Disguise" dub. Considering that series was originally made in Japan it's disappointing ANN didn't mention those roles.
I didn't watch RID myself but it has its fans.
