Everyone please buy La Mulana (1 and 2) and play through it without hints.

They are amazing games if you take it slow and -write everything down-.

Also when you die in a certain room in La Mulana 2 be aware that the person who designed that death trap.... was me Wink. For my kickstarter reward Wink.

I'm very happy to hear this announcement. I never got around to the first game when it was on the Wii and haven't played the second game, either. Aside from the overly cartoony width of the player-character, which sort of annoys me personally, everything about this series looks right up my alley.

I am curious, though: Is the second game an actual sequel or just an upside-down remix of the first game?

And, samuelp, congrats on getting one of your trap designs in the second game! That must feel pretty cool.

It's an actual sequel. Still waiting on my physical rewards from the Kickstarter, though they've been been very forthcoming about the delays, compared the usual problems Kickstarters have.

Since I was living in Japan at the time, I went over to Osaka and actually had a meeting with the developers (we went out for curry afterwards).

Totally worth my $$$.
