It seems like it could've been a fun action show, but man that animation in the trailer was really stiff, which kills any interest I've would've had in it.

I try to be open minded about anime inspired American animation but that animation looked pretty bad.

I'm ok with it, tbh. Obviously I think Castlevania looked better but this one looks pretty promising if you ask me. Definitely something to look forward to in Fall.

These "anime inspired" shows really need to stop skipping out on in-betweens. Makes everything look jittery and stiff.

"anime inspired" shows basically do things because they saw it in anime but don't actually understand why anime does it.
Not interested in this myself, but hey it could be worse. It could have been High Guardian Spice 2.0.

At this point I’m convinced High Guardian Spice is a phantom boogeymen trotted out to increase support for other shows. I mean, it’s Dr. Stone with the bigass billboard in Times Square.

Wao the comments weren't exaggerating about the stiff animation, what are in-betweens even.
Netflix LAT is promoting this as "the first anime inspired in Mexico" which annoys me because 1) it isn't the first and 2) when will americans figure out not all of Mexico is Tijuana and not all Mexicans look like Danny Trejo
Doesn't look enticing at all

Most Americans think Mexicans are mariachis, gang members, or boxers.

Hmm. I didn't expect this to be some sort of "monster-horror" flick, but then again it's the same studio behind Castlevania. I was just hoping they try something more different.
