I'll be negative and say I was very unimpressed with that preview. Not only does it pale in comparison to Kawada Mami's contributions, but it's also plain weak as an opening theme. It lacks any punch to the point that it almost feels like an ending theme (which is funny since Kurosaki sang EDs for Index previously). And did someone from I've Sound compose this? If not, it sounds like a knock-off. If so, this is one of their weakest compositions.
With a long-running series like this there's bound to be a weak theme song or two but I'm still disappointed. Hopefully it sounds better in full context. |
