EP. REVIEW: Planet With

Nezuya is one of the Grand Paladin's more flamboyant personalities: a high-school graduate with constantly sparkling eyes and a book in his hand at all times who also has a penchant for flipping his hair dramatically.

The story is still unfolding, so time will tell if the series has any deep or meaningful thematic statements hiding behind all of its spectacle, but I would be perfectly happy even if Planet With decides to stick with being a fun and compelling science-fiction romp.

Sadly, the first few volumes of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer are OOP, hopefully I'll get lucky and find them at a used bookstore or a con in the future as the third-party sellers' prices are not reasonable at the moment.

Here's an interesting detail I've noticed: all of the robots so far, with one exception, line up with the Chinese zodiac. Heck, even the names of the pilots are pretty similar (Nezuya = nezu = rat). And considering the story of the cat not getting into the Zodiac, it's clear this is definitely intentional. Man, I love Mizukami.

Further details of Hindu cosmology vary. DW is based on a slew of old myths, which reach their most 'refined' form in Hindu mythology, which in turn of course derived from the original Star Trek episode 'Planet of Wobbly Rocks where the Security Guard Got Shot'.
