The Japanese to English translation of the last title though (does that even count as a translation?)

I wonder if the decision to license these was handed down from the Japan side...?

At what rate do "digital first" titles turn into "digital only" ones? I don't particularly care for this bunch, but there were some other titles that I would have loved to pick up as a print edition that seem to go that route (Hozuki's Coolheadedness, Museum, Blame! Academy ... kinda gave up on those).

I think digital-first titles end up becoming print titles when there's a perception they can do the numbers to justify the cost of printing, solicitations, warehousing, distribution, and eventual returns, which probably either means the licensor has to see fairly strong digital sales or some promotional opportunity (e.g. a new anime adaptation).

I know Smile

What I wanted to know is how often that actually happens. I'm not a native speaker, I don't always get my point across too well.

@Coup d'État out of the four or so digital-first series that Kodansha has been announcing every month since sometime last year, only Grand Blue Dreaming and Tokyo Tarareba Girls have gotten print versions so far. So not very often. But Kodansha has recently opened up a (monthly?) survey that asks people which digital-first series they want to see in print, so we'll hopefully see more series get print releases.
