source is a novel IIRC. live action movie had pretty good reviews. no idea why they chose this title other than to grab attention lol

A small part of me keeps suspecting that this novel having been a Narou story is a bizarre hoax. I've been looking and can't find old tweets or blog posts or anything that seem to be from people who were reading it there; the Wayback Machine's copies of the site's novel rankings aren't much help either.
Could just be the language barrier that's keeping me from finding stuff like I found when I was looking into the Twilight fanfic Master of the Universe (probably the most popular story in the history of FanFiction.Net), of course.

I feel bad for Sumika having to do the song for this so close after they smashed it out of the park with Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii. The expectations for it to be better than Fiction have to be unrealistic.

This story sounds like a tearjerker. That title is...interesting, though. Has anyone come up with a nickname yet?
