Great news, I've always been a fan of the anime and wished there was more than just the 3 episode OVA. Hope this leads to more down the road.

Hopefully they will ask Keichi Sonoda at the panel, what new things he is up to.
It is hard nowadays to find out things that Kenichi Sonoda, Masamune Shirow, and Johji Manabe are up to. Will support the KickStarter when it starts up. |

Totally agree with all of that TarsTarkas.
Also, perhaps unlikely but it'd be cool if this short could end up on the upcoming release we'll all be backing on Kickstarter since it's a short and shorts tend to get overlooked and go unlicensed. Though I guess it'd probably tricky or might not even be available until someone was to license a new series if one got made following this short and could be included there.
Beat me to it, I loved the OVAs 
Even bought the manga even though I don't buy a lot of manga, what I'd really like is more anime for this.
My reaction too  Hope this leads to a full series.

This series sounds like something I would absolutely love the hell out of, so hearing about this reboot short has me very curious/hoping if a full-fledged TV series could follow. I know that possibility is unlikely, but with more semi-old/old anime currently getting either continuations and remakes, maybe it wouldn’t be that impossible for it to happen the same with this series.

I loved the OVA series, while I'm sure they will pick a pretty good team as well, I doubt it will be as good. I do hope they still use Key-Framed cars if there is another car chase(s)

Information available to us has dried up considerably for Masamune Shirow. I haven't seen a new art book in awhile now, and he only wrote the concept for Pandora, someone else did the writing and illustrations. According to Wikipedia the last art book release was in 2016. His official webpage and his blog haven't been updated since 2016. Do a search on the internet, and everyone is asking the same thing. |

An old favorite of mine. I am starting to really enjoy these rescues and new material for old shows these past few years. The BGC BluRay, new Slayers, Aria got a dub, and now GSC's to name a few.
