Even though Anime Strike is thankfully dead, I still find it irritating whenever Amazon gets exclusive rights to any upcoming shows. It's the one service that I won't sign up for because I have absolutely no use for any of the other "benefits" of Prime. I very rarely shop online, I don't listen to audiobooks, I don't follow any Twitch streamers, and I have no interest in any of their Amazon original programming either. Not to mention their anime section is an absolute mess to try to navigate through.
it's a shame, because I'm a really big Fist of the North Star fan and I was wanting to check this out.

So what about the first 26 episode series? Is this a reboot or is it just going to continue from that first series we never got in North America?

So is this showing worldwide on Amazon Prime or just Japan?

Judging from the announced cast, it sounds as if they're going to continue where the other left off. But I don't think you'll need to have seen that arc to follow the new one.

Well Anime Strike is dead, so the $25,000 question is if this is Amazon adding it to their service proper, or a leftover from that failed experiment.

Last I checked I don’t even think it exists on the site anymore. So that’s a big no.
