This is kind of crazy. I would've never pegged the show show for a second season.
I wonder if Juni Taisen's existence has threatened them a bit?

I quite enjoyed watching this anime back when it used to aired. Pretty fun and solid fighting scenes. Never would've imagine that it's gonna have a second season, considering how badly it had flopped.

This is just weird. If this can get a second season, three years later, it feels like just about anything could. It really didn't seem like much of a success, just a show most people would easily forget (if they knew of it at all), but it was a fun watch with good use of 3D, so I'm really not complaining.

I get the feeling Eotama is more popular in Japan than it is here; the original manga often gets pretty prime location in the early pages of Dengeki Daioh rather than being buried at the back. And the Western following is probably hurt by the fact that Eotama is one of the handful of shows to be burdened with Pony Canyon USA's ridiculously overpriced, ridiculously packaged singles release. |

The disc sales look very poor. And the show itself had a scene stressing how important disc sales are. But I'm happy this must have still managed to be a success somehow. |

I still remember that something called Etotama - Kids was revealed at some point during 2016 ... Maybe they will re-reveal it !!!

It was certainly not a success based on disc sales, but the manga and merchandise must've been decent. I'd normally tout streaming revenue as a bigger thing than people make it out to be, but unless it did really well in China, I don't think it had a very strong streaming audience in either Japan or the US either. |
