(And on another personal note, I'm not really digging the remake's new art… which is odd, because I've really liked artist Masaki Hirooka's work on ESPGaluda II, Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, and Kid Icarus Uprising. Hmm.)

There are "original artwork" and "chibi artwork" DLC packs for $2.50 each. Since I never got around to playing the DS version (my DS/3DS RPG backlog has been consistently half a dozen titles deep for almost a decade) it isn't really worth it to me, but I can see how some people - especially those American video gamers who are still vocal opponents of "anime art" in games - might consider it a dealbreaker.

Street Fighter V: Blanka is awesome. Excluding him would be Street Fighter blasphemy. I figured he'd be added eventually. You can't mess with legacy. He looks even more manly beast than ever before now.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology: I really don't know why people are getting up in arms about the new art, the voice acting (the English dub is just fine), or the fact there's no Japanese audio. How about just playing the game and enjoying it for what it is? This is a great chance to play an original Atlus RPG with an exceptionally written story that was hard to find in the DS days due to limited stock, but no, all people want to do is whine and complain about trivial and minute things that don't matter.

Secret of Mana: Looking forward to picking this up when I get off work later today.

But, um, anyway. Radiant Historia is a unique time-travel RPG where you hop between a bunch of different potential timelines.

It's actually two both of which center around the direction of the main conflict of the game.

There's plenty of room to improve on the gameplay too, which, as I already mentioned was janky… but lovably janky. It's one of those cases where fixing it might make it less endearing.

If it's janky to the point it shatters immersion or messes with the basic gameplay I say fix it but now with me having a SNES Classic I"m curious as to what this jankiness amounts to.

The 3DS version adds a bunch of new content that requires you to hop between SH, AH, and a bunch of new "what if" timelines.

Hey, did you know that last project that Nomura stayed on as director through its completion was Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children? In 2005? Yeah, just pointing that out.

I'm glad someone else is starting to notice (since Square Enix apparently isn't) - I'm as much of a Nomura fangirl as any other FF fan from my generation, but it's becoming very clear that he's incapable of finishing his projects.

I like to think (and kind of hope) those what if timelines don't run the whole of the game like the main two timelines did in the original game.

There are 98 PH nodes spread out across what promotional materials were listing as 25+ new timelines, so most of them are pretty short.

Internet has been exploding with comparing Monsters Inc. Goofy to Jar Jar Binks.

Will probably end up on "Shittiest Games of 2018". Watch his video here.

I thought of Jimk when he mentioned how the game world would be completely barren.
