I'm impressed. I consider 7 to be one of the best in the series. The sountrack is great.

To be fair, games back then didn't take that long to make. There was practically a new Mega Man game every year or so.
Nowadays, a great game takes about 5 years to make. The ante got upped pretty damn fast, actually.

Yeah, in the '80s they made new games in a few weeks, but often they were total crap, like the E.T. game for Atari 2600. But I guess more complex games like Sonic or Super Mario for SNES needed much more time!
